Information

Hack in the Class gives workshops at schools. All her workshops are provided by volunteers, who believe it is important that the young generation is made digitally resilient. By creating a network of volunteers, Hack in the Class will not be tied to a specific region and every school can be given the opportunity to offer this knowledge to its students.

Always wanted to learn how to hack, program or do cool things with electronics? Making a start is often difficult, we want to help you with that. We have different ways …

Did your child come home with the message: I want to learn how to hack ?! You are shocked by this, because hacking is punishable in many countries. No problem, your child has just chosen a great job

Hack in the Class organizes various activities, including Hack in the Class, Teach the Teacher and Teach the Parents. We visit the classroom to give workshops

Request a workshop

You can easily request a workshop by e-mail. Please provide the information below in your email. Please note: we do not have many volunteers outside of the Netherlands at this moment. If travelling expenses are covered we are willing to travel abroad to teach our workshops.

  • Which workshop you want to request.
  • Three data options on which the lesson can be given, including possible times. On average a workshop takes 2 – 2.5 hours.
  • Number of students.
  • Average age of the students.
  • Do you have enough computers with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (Internet Explorer, netbooks and tablets unfortunately do not work).
  • Do you have a digital board or projector at your disposal?
  • Location information where the workshop must be given.

Workshop requirements:

  • Teacher or supervisor must always be present in the classroom during the workshop.
  • Wired or wireless network.
