Teaching materials

The best defense is education. By learning what dangers there are, how you can protect yourself against these dangers and knowing how hackers think, it becomes a lot clearer how the digital world works. We find that this education must be accessible to everyone.

Hack in the Class has developed several “pillars” within which the components of our digital society fall. Think of being able to make conscious choices about privacy and protecting yourself, how do hackers work and what is actually hacking, what information can all be found and how do I arrive at this information?

Our pillars

You do not learn by hearing or doing something once, but you do this by coming into contact with the subject in various ways. That is why every “pillar” deals with the subject from a starting point.

  • Making
In which students create or think on some subject themselves.
  • Breaking
By breaking something, you can learn what aspects are involved in the specific topic.
  • Safety
By becoming aware on the subject and being aware of the dangers, they can learn how to safely handle the subject.
  • Critical thinking
By having a critical point of view on a subject students learn how to solve a problem and have to improvise on the subject.
